Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro maintain a low list price but offer a more than discrete chip, a very bright AMOLED display, and many batteries with fast charging.
Poco X5 Pro and Poco X5 standard are the two new medium-low range smartphones of the Xiaomi group with a very aggressive price, as is the tradition of this brand. These devices can satisfy most of the needs of the average user who needs a smartphone to surf the web, use social networks, watch movies and TV series in streaming, and take photos. Both models do both with ease, with a very advantageous price, especially during the first week of launch.
The processor chosen for the Poco X5 Pro 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G, combined with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display, with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the maximum brightness is 900 nits, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.
The photographic sector counts on a 108 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor. The front camera is 16MP.
In addition to compatibility with 5G networks, the Poco X5 Pro also features WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC chip. The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh, with 67W fast charging. The available colors are black, light blue, and Poco’s typical yellow.
The Poco X5 has a slim design with a thickness of 7.98mm. Inside there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, inherited from last year’s Poco X4 Pro and combined with two memory sizes: 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB. Storage is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card, which can be purchased separately.
The display, in some respects, is better than that of the Pro model: a 6.67-inch AMOLED, with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is IP53 certified, therefore, resistant to dust and drops of water.
There are three photographic sensors on the back: the primary 48 MP, the 8 MP wide angle, and the 2 MP macro.
There is plenty of WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and the 3.5 mm valuable jack for wired headphones. Finally, the battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and recharges at 33W. The standard Poco X5 comes in black, light blue, and sage green colors.
The two new medium-low-end smartphones, Poco X5 Pro 5G and Poco X5 5G will also be available in Italy from February 7 in physical stores and on Amazon with the following prices:
