Will Apple Fans Expect a Spring Presentation This Year?

 As noted by the 9to5Mac portal, this event is indeed possible, especially considering the numerous reports about the most other latest developments of the company, which are in the final stage. Spring presentations are not a mandatory annual event for Cupertino’s, unlike, for example, the WWDC developers conference and the fall Apple event, which usually show new iPhone models. 

In 2020, the company scrapped presentations in the spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, although it introduced new products through a press release. In 2019, the company’s spring event was entirely dedicated to the services segment of the company’s business – namely Apple News +, Apple Card, Apple TV +, and Apple Arcade. If Apple’s presentation does happen in the spring of 2021, it will, for obvious reasons, be held online. Slightly less obvious are the announcements that may take place. However, 9to5Mac still highlighted several gadgets presented to the public for the first time at this event. 

First of all, we are talking about the new iPad Pro with a mini-LED display, which uses very small LEDs to create it. In addition, a new processor will be installed in it. At the same time, the appearance of the new tablet line is likely to remain very close to the 2020 models so that only the screen and hardware of the gadget will be affected. 

In addition, according to rumors, the company is actively working on an updated version of the iPad mini, which is supposedly scheduled for release in March. This tablet will receive an 8.4-inch screen. However, the new design is also not worth waiting for – unlike the iPad Air 4 and the current iPad Pro, the company plans to keep the top and bottom bezels on the device’s screen, as well as the home button and Touch ID. It was also previously reported that in April 2021, Apple would release the third generation of the iPhone SE. So far, absolutely nothing is known about this smartphone.

In the press, there were statements from insiders that in addition to the main model, an enlarged version of it in the form of the iPhone SE Plus, which externally will resemble the iPhone 8 Plus, may appear. Still, this information has not yet been confirmed. Apple is expected to release new versions of its AirPods line of wireless earbuds in 2021. The second-generation AirPods Pro will supposedly see the light in April. 

Insiders promise a more compact design and the absence of any leg. There is also information about the new budget AirPods with a shortened leg and replaceable ear pads. According to preliminary data, they will completely replace the first generation of headphones and cost about $ 199. Among other things, in 2021, the release of the updated Apple TV set-top box and AirTags trackers is expected, which the company promises to release over the past two years. An analog of AirTags has already been released by Samsung at the beginning of this year, calling them Galaxy SmartTag. 

In general, like the upcoming announcements, Apple’s spring presentation is still only the fruit of predictions from the media and insiders, which the company’s management has not yet confirmed. On the other hand, Cupertino already has experience holding events in an online format, which requires much fewer costs than a face-to-face presentation, so this spring, the Apple brand will be more prepared than for the previous one.
