For Xiaomi it is time for new headphones: these are the FlipBuds Pro, specimens with multiple useful qualities to take the place of the top of the range in the panorama of the Chinese company’s proposals. True wireless and with active noise cancellation, these earphones are not afraid to challenge the proposals of competitors already on the market.

In the beginning, they were called Noise Canceling Headphone Pro but, after a few months, the manufacturer decided to remove the veil of mystery that was around it to show everyone the true face of these high-level earphones. 

Made by a specially created team, the first example of the new upcoming series which – according to the advances of industry insiders – should replace the Airline, also has an attractive design on its side, with a glossy finish and a black charging case. , with brand logo and LED light to check to charge. Another detail to consider is that of the Dual Device Intelligent Connection technology. Its usefulness is soon explained: thanks to it it is possible to share the same audio output with another device, allowing the connection of two separate pairs of earphones to the same smartphone, tablet, or computer. It also comes in handy when you need to switch between devices, allowing quick switching between them.

Moving on to more technical aspects, these headphones have 11mm dynamic drivers available, with a chip made by Qualcomm in the QCC5151 model. Among the available audio codecs, we find aptX Adaptive (which guarantees audio quality and low latency), AAC, and SBC, to which is added the Bluetooth 5.2 protocol and the special mode for games that allows you to avoid audio delays.

The Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro earphones will make their official debut on the Chinese market next May 21, priced at 799 yuan, or just over 100 euro. Currently, the manufacturer has not provided any information on times and prices outside the motherland; We will therefore have to wait a little longer to be able to put our hand on this tasty proposal in Italy as well.
